Holy cow, did anyone else think that this movie was amazing? The way the movie played out was magnificent, it didn't pan out like every other Hollywood film where it leads you directly where you want it to go. It actually makes you feel like you were there. Of course, that might just be the film student in me.

Has anybody on here ever seen the movie Tombstone? It came out in 1993, but I just saw it for the first time a few weeks ago, and man did I think it was awesome. It's a western, which is a genre I always liked as a kid, but what made me truly love this movie was Val Kilmer's job at portraying Doc Holliday. Talk about nailing a role, he was awesome. I advise anyone who hasn't seen this movie to check it out as it's a good watch.

I haven't seen this movie yet but its is similar to golden compass from what I've heard its absolutely amazing. The effects and the idea. A new version of what life is about and how to live it. We all have a daemon inside us... and over they years it hardens... the way it hardens (whether good or evil) is solely dependent on how we treat ourselves and others. sure sounds like a good movie. I wasn't able to see it ...so i think i'll dl it.. if its really that good, i'll buy it

Ok, so first of all, the trilogy of "His Dark Materials" is amazing! Interesting, deep and makes you think. And fantasy. Which is amazing on its own.
