Meet the Spartans is a sequel to 2007's Epic Movie set for release on January 25, 2008. It was written, directed, and co-produced by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. The working titles were Hunting and Fishing, Not Another Scary Epic Teen Date Movie, and Epic Movie 2. The MPAA rated it PG-13 for crude and sexual content throughout, language, and some comic violence. Although it references many movies, TV shows, people and pop cultural events, it focuses mainly on the movie 300. The cast includes Sean Maguire, Carmen Electra, Kevin Sorbo, Ken Davitian, Method Man, Nicole Parker, Crista Flanagan, Ike Barinholtz, Tim Connolly (from the original 300), and many more.
